Miss Alex has been instrumental in my son's early learning development. Her caring, exuberance, and passion for teaching are prevalent in every thing she does. My son is constantly ahread of all his developmental milestones and I believe that Miss Alex has absolutely played a part in his success and growth. Most importantly, she and Miss Julie love and care about their students as if they were their own children. Leaving your cild with someone else is never easy and choosing a nursery school is a huge decision, but I couldn't think of a better place to send your kids. We would absutely use Academy Avenue if we still lived in Maryland. We miss Miss Alex and Miss Julie!!

Alex Hviding has a passion for both the education and well being of children she cares for. She's committed to not only teaching, but making learning fun and enjoyable for her students...a crucial component to any good educator! She wants nothing more to provide a nurturing, compassionate environment for both children and parents alike and that shines through in everything she does. Highly recommended!

Alex has a great work ethic and truly cares for her students. She goes above and beyond when in the classroom, making sure her students are learning, safe and having fun. This nursery school is an environment filled with love!
