Great facility. Been in and out of there since they opened in 2014 with various family members. Food- just like hospitals most people never like the food. It has it's moments but overall it ok. Smell- any time you have patients that are incontinent your gonna have some smell. The staff have been great to take of it. Rarely have I encountered a constant odor. Staff- overall pleasant, helpful and patient focused. As with anything things happen that aren't expected but the entire staff are quick to get it resolved. I will definitely keep referring family and friends to this facility.
Positives:Exceptional STAFF! Friendly, professional, and personalized care. One-level- NO steps/elevators! Varied ,diverse resident health levels, needs....my Dad is happy & comfortable! Always CLEAN. Great Activities outreach. Food choices have client feedback for future menu choices, large multi-purpose rooms/lounges, and beautiful setting.
Negatives: able-walkers still require supervision outdoors,windows are spectacular-but not all rooms have. Overall we are very satisfied, because our Dad is.:) (response to earlier “smell” rating- While passing rooms being cleaned for certain residents we ONLY notice at a certain time of day -while changing linens DAILY!- there WILL always be a slight “smell” -as in ALL hotel -like facilities that care for many incontinenent residents...seriously?)
My dad was sent here to recover from heart surgery. After reading all the negative reviews, I was concerned. After I visited him on his first day there, I had no more worries. It's a new building, it is very clean, and the staff is very pleasant! My dad is in no hurry to leave. I am so thankful.
