Both of my parents lived at Mapleton Care Center for six years. I can't say enough about the staff. The staff turnover was pretty much non-existent.
Everyone was loving and caring with my parents. It really felt like a family environment. It was a true blessing for both of them and me to find such a wonderful place for their final years.
My Father lived at Mapleton Care Center for a little over 3 years. He received the BEST care ever! From a very devoted and qualified Staff to great food. He lived to be 100 and 9 months, and I know the wonderful care at Mapleton had a lot to do with it! If you decide to visit, you may be unimpressed because the building isn't new or especially fancy. But you must not judge this "book by it's cover"! You need to look deeper and notice how well everything is taken care of, and how clean everything is. And, the most important sign is how happy the residents are. The Director really goes out of his way to resolve any problems, and keep on top of everything ~ making sure it all runs well, and that all issues are resolved correctly. The turn-over rate of Staff is really low. Employees enjoy their jobs and work well together. I highly recommend this Facility. If there's an opening, you should quickly take it and move your loved in.

This is a fantastic facility with caring, compassionate staff who will do anything to take care of your loved one. My Mom stayed here and was given the most loving care. They go above and beyond. We have had other family members at other facilities for end of life care and there is no comparison. I highly recommend Mapleton Care Center for anyone who is considering putting their loved one's care in their trust.
My father stayed at Mapleton Care Center. Although it was brief, the care he received was exceptional. We worked closely with Steven on getting him transferred, and he made the transition very smooth. As a family, we were all well informed on what to do and expect from the care at Mapleton and the partnership with Lutheran Hospice. I would highly recommend Mapleton Care Center.
This nursing/skilled nursing facility is an older place. As a matter of fact, when I first saw it, I really thought it should be bulldozed and rebuilt! Too bad that can't be done - but there are older people there with no other place for them to go. But the wonderful care residents receive is truly amazing, and makes the oldness not important. Most of the employees have been there a long time (unusual... since most employees in facilities like this don't stick around very long). This speaks well for such a business, all the employees are really devoted. And they're compassionate and work well together! Truly the BEST place for older and needy people. Check it out if you're looking for a good place for your parents, or any older person at this stage of life.
