I had my buddy Mason euthanized and three days later I received him back. Truly stellar service to handle things so quickly! It has helped my grieving process by getting him home. He came in a nice tin with "Always Remembered" printed on the front. Better than the cardboard box I got my last pet back in. They included a printed note with a wonderful message about losing a pet. It made me cry but such a wonderful gesture. If you are in the Chicagoland area, I truly recommend Metro Animal Services.
All of the employees that I encountered at Metro Animal Service were wonderful! The owners went above and beyond in helping us with our dog we recently had to have euthanized. He was treated with care and dignity throughout the entire process! You can tell they really do love what they do and care about their customers who are going through a tough time like this! We had our "baby" back home with us the very next day! I look forward to passing out the keychains and ceramic paw prints they made for us to the people who had a big part in his rough life that he had and who loved our dog as much as we do!! Just a great keepsake to have to remember the impact he made on all of our lives!!

Had to get my hamster cremated. I brought her in the same day I called and she was ready to be picked up early the next morning. Very quick service. Which definitely helped the grieving process. Very compassionate staff. And they cut the cost In half since my little babe was so small! Very nicely wrapped. I felt good that I knew these people did this with dignity and compassion. Would recommend with anyone that has a pet death in their family. Thank you Metro!!
My furbaby had to be euthanized. Our emergency vet sent our Sissy to your facility. We recieved her ashes in 6 days, along with a paw print and a little poem keepsake.Thank you for getting my Sissy back to us so quickly.I wasnt familiar with your facility since it was in Illinois and I live in Indiana, But after reading your page I feel you showed my Sissy compassion and love .Thank you for making this tragic time alittle bit more bearable.I can sleep because my furbaby is home....
