  I always been interested in martial arts, but I've never committed to any school because they all seemed to share the same "Mcblackbelt" ideology. You go in, pay some money, two years down the line you're a black belt without any real knowledge of the theory behind the techniques or forms.
  I can proudly say Dragon Kido is not that type of school. Grand Master Hutson is a traditionalist and believes you have to earn the right to wear a black belt. Going on 3 years now and I can tell you I'm not near my black belt yet. Most people might be dissuaded by this, but I can tell you with certainty that I feel very confident about the skill set I developed so far and techniques shown to me. Master Hutson prides himself in the authenticity of his teachings, which first hand I can say definitely show you how to use these skills for everyday practical situations. Forget the stuff you see in the movies, while great to watch, the reality is fights are down and dirty. Grand Master Hutson shows you the reality of how you would really defend yourself in those situations. Overall Grand Master Hutson is a great example of time honored traditions that seem to have been lost in the commercialization of most schools.
  Honor, Integrity, Respect, Discipline, Compassion, these are just small portion of some of things that you'll walk away with after attending this school.

  I've been training in the martial arts for over 12 years now and Dragon Kido is the real deal. Grandmaster Hutson has 40 plus years teaching experience and he's an expert in helping others realize their full potential. Where else can you practice Judo, Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, KiMudo, and weaponry?

  Love this academy and Master Hutson. I wouldn't take my son anywhere else! Instructors have so much patience and really make sure their students understand what they are learning and why.

  This school has given me a very genuine feel and introduction to martial arts. I enrollled in judo about seven months ago not entirely sure what to expect, and now I absolutely love it! Come roll with us and learn respect and self defense!
