  Stonehouse B&B is at a great location in the lower part of town. Close to the shops and restaurants. AND!! You can't beat the view we had from the New Room...just breathtaking. Fantastic breakfasts both mornings we were there. Chris and the housekeeper offered great hospitality. Super affordable given the ameneties. We've already booked our next visit and I'm positive we'll be back many more times.

  Stonehouse lives up to their 'no doilies' reputation. Run by a lovely couple, it is warm and inviting, and the living space and room we were in were very comfortable and nicely appointed. The owners are very knowledgeable about the area and gave us spot on suggestions for restaurants and watering holes. The breakfast was delicious and held us until dinner. We were lucky to be the only guests during a quiet government shutdown. We highly recommend this awesome getaway and look forward to visiting again!

  Delightful historic setting, beautifully updated amenities while retaining the feel. Perfect weekend getaway for us.

  Wonderful place in a quiet, historic, beautiful mountain town. Chris & Leisel are great owner/ operators and Chris made an incredible breakfast (see pics). New Room was spacious, air conditioned with remote-controlled ceiling fan and a great view of Maryland Heights, the River and the train station. A wonderful retreat I will visit again!

  Our first ever experience at a BnB. We could not have asked for a better one. Chris was extremely easy to talk to, the room was clean, the breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere was one of a kind. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is familiar with or new to BnB's.
