I love tacos and came her on a friend's recommendation. Note they are open only on the weekend. The price is great, the meat is good, the sauce is good, but they need to work on the quality of their flour tortillas.

Anyone that has lived here in Houston knows that street taco shops are a dime a dozen around here. Finding one that stands out can prove to be very difficult. Most are just sufficient at best, but if your lucky enough to be near this spot, you might have just found that gem you have been looking for. The truth is that most street taco shops are pretty similar. The differentiator comes down to the flavor of the meat, the quantity, and the price. For someone like me who loves to eat spicy, I also consider the spiciness of the green sauce a factor too. I'm happy to report that this small taco stand excels in all of this. The meat is seriously flavorful, they definitely don't skimp on the portions, and in a day and age where most taco stands have abandoned the $1 per taco price point, I'm happy to say this place had not. $1 never tasted so good. The owner even tosses in a giant jalapeno to compliment your taco. You seriously can't go wrong with this spot. The green sauce has the flavor I love, but I do wish it was just a tad spicier. That would be my one gripe. If you are in the area, make sure you stop in and give this spot a go. By far the best street taco joint in the north.
