  Great place for kids and adults. Nature Center has a few animal exhibits on display. Outdoors there are 2.5 miles of paved and unpaved nature trails. Ask the volunteers st the front about the best time to see the deer. The Nature Center is in the middle of Okeeheelee Park, free parking and free admission, donations appreciatied.

  A beautiful place to decompress among nature and animals. Great walking trails, bird watching, and deer enclosure. The team at the Nature Center are exceptional: knowledgeable, friendly, committed to the conservation of the Florida ecosystem. The Okeeheelee Park surrounding the center is massive with lots of activity options. It's a great place to hold a picnic, let your kids run around, boat, golf, or sit someplace quiet with a book.

  It's a quiet place that you can learn about nature. I love the flower garden around the building. It attracts a lot of butterflies. I have seen the hummingbird feeder and but have not seen a hummingbird myself in quite a while.

  Great experience for the family. Owls, snakes, baby Gators, and turtles in Center. Deer, hawks, and Gopher tortoises out in the trails.

  Urban hiking at it's best. Nice nature center with friendly staff and informational exhibits. Excellent variety of urban hiking trails, rest and picnic areas. Enjoy canoeing on the lake, observing Gopher tortoises, and many species of native plants and birds.
