  Above and beyond! After a major snafu at another local Inn (not related to this one in ANY way!), we were stranded in Mt. Dora (with our dog) for what was supposed to be our perfect anniversary weekend after our annual Goldendoodle reunion. I called the 800 number to Mt. Dora Historic Inn at an ungodly hour of the morning. They went out of their way to make sure that we had a place to stay for our anniversary weekend to the point that they were calling friend's Inns to see if they had any room. Luckily for us, some northerners had to check out early and we had a home for the weekend! We were so thankful and so impressed with the kindness, compassion and level of service that we booked for next year already! Give them a call you won't be sorry!

  Melanie treats is like family. This is the only place we will stay in Mount Dora!

  What a fantastic experience! The location is perfect and our wonderful hostess-Lily was absolutely lovely and extremely helpful! Our room was perfect and really comfy! The breakfast is far from boring-it was gourmet and Lily was very accomidating to my dietary restrictions! I would highly recommend this place to stay when visiting Mount Dora!

  Home away from home!! Walking distance to historic Mr. Dora downtown loaded with great shopping and dining. Melanie (Inn Keeper) has become part of our family. She is personable and professional and always stops by to make sure everything is great. Super clean cottages, superior quality and most importantly... dog friendly. We love this place and would never think about staying somewhere else!!

  My husband and I were gifted this experience. We had such a wonderful time, I have no doubt we will go back. Breakfast was wonderful, especially with all the other guests we made as friends for the day. Thank you for having us!
